WELCOME TO SLUGLAND!
Greetings and Welcome to Slugland! On behalf of the African-American Resource & Cultural Center(AARCC) we wish all of our new and continuing students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners a successful year with the UCSC community. We hope that you will visit our site often and take advantage of the wealth of resources and opportunities awaiting you upon your arrival. The AARCC works to develop and foster co-curricular initiatives that promote academic success, leadership, and student development. Our primary mission is to serve as a key resource to acclimate students to campus life and academic culture. We continually strive to provide advocacy and support to our students. The AARCC works closely with campus and community partners to enhance our student’s academic progress and attainment of their educational goals. Whenever you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me or the AARCC staff as we are here in help in everyway possible. I look forward to hearing from you!
